Spring is definitely on its way, it’s very cold here just north of York this morning -4 degrees but mint plants still pushing through the soil. Makes us think of warmer times using mint with new potatoes, in bouquets of flowers, a typically English fragrance.

Well, half the weekend has gone, lots of bulb planting done, old sweetpeas removed, dahlias deadheaded, crates of early bulbs planted, dare I sneak a peak at winter holidays this eve when his highness has nodded off!! Yeah think so.
